The Residences at La Cantera is an urban-style project that will offer Class A multifamily dwellings and amenity retail space, which has been designed by US-based Looney Ricks Kiss Architecture. The project will be constructed by CF Jordan Construction, over a five-acres site, located at 6215 Via La Cantera.
With a backdrop of hill country views, the development will offer 323 upscale apartments and about 4,000 square feet of retail space. The residential units will be a mix of studio apartments to three-bedroom homes, which will vary in area in the range of 553 square feet to 1,785 square feet.
Inside, each home will feature several luxury features, which will consist of hardwood flooring, stone countertops, technology niches and expansive baths. The design of the homes will capture the natural design elements of San Antonio.
The amenities for the residents will consist of a clubhouse with a cyber café that is linked to a pool and Jacuzzi, a fitness centre with a separate yoga classroom and a rooftop terrace, fire pit and full outdoor kitchen.
The Residences at La Cantera will be built to meet Texas Green certification standards. The development forms the first phase of the Town Center at La Cantera, a mixed-use development.
