The Heronrib matting is said to be a safe surface which is slip resistant, warm and comfortable to stand on. It has been installed all over the tiled pool area, the access steps, pool surrounds, walkways and showers. To further enhance its security credentials, the matting on the steps have been secured with cable ties which ensures superior security even in the wet state.
The company has used hardwearing non-porous vinyl to construct Heronrib. The vinyl is enhanced with a two layer open grid construction and channelled underbars, which makes drainage of water in all directions easier.
The matting has an embossed slip resistant surface. The surface is further fortified by anti-bacterial and anti-fungal additives. This ensures hygienic for bare feet as it reduces the risk of cross-contamination. Based on these properties, Heronrib can be used in hospital, healthcare and other hygiene-sensitive environments.
The matting is offered in 10m long rolls, with widths of 50cm, 1m and 1.22m. It is also available in a variety of colours.
