The pipeline Hyatt-branded hotel will be a 13-storey hotel, which will be constructed on the former site of Rock City Machine Co., located at 301 3rd Avenue South, a block from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
The all-suite hotel will have 255 suites in total, which will be 20% larger than the average hotel room. The guestrooms will boast Hyatt’s signature, upscale décor. Each suite will have separate sitting and sleeping quarters and will be equipped with a mini fridge, 42-inch flat screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi access.
The other facilities at the hotel will consist of 3,600 square feet of meeting space and a 163-space parking garage. The lobby of the hotel will assimilate the Hyatt Place brand’s signature food and beverage options, such as The Gallery, a round-the-clock full bar and coffee shop; and a new complimentary hot breakfast venue, the a.m. Kitchen Skillet.
Construction of the hotel is scheduled for completion in late 2013.
