Located in Calgary, the project will be named as the Calgary Airport Hotel Village. The 518-room hotel village will be located at 2021 100 Avenue NE, in Canada.
The project will allow the hotels to share certain facilities. Exterior walkways and an underground parking garage will connect the three properties. The Hampton and Homewood Suites will share a pool and fitness centre, while the Hampton and Hilton hotels will be connected by a 14,000 square feet conference centre. The Hampton, Hilton and Homewood properties will have 135 rooms, 252 rooms and 122 suites, respectively.
The project will be built upon previous creative development models from Hilton Worldwide such as the dual-brand hotel by Homewood Suites.
The Homewood Suites and Hampton hotels have already broken ground, with construction of the Hilton property expected to begin in the second quarter of 2013. The Homewood Suites and Hampton properties are scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2013, while the Hilton Hotel is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2015.
