The six-storey Forrester’s headquarters are located at Cambridge Discovery Park in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The building is in close proximity to ‘urban wild,’ a newly restored naturalistic designed landscape that can be used for recreational purposes.

Spanning 190,000 square feet, Forrester’s headquarters have been designed to provide views of nature. All enclosed rooms are located in the interior side while all the perimeter windows are accessible to all employees and guests.

Factors that contributed to the LEED rating of the building include: the selection of LEED Gold base building, 35% reduction in the use of water, 35% reduction in lighting power by using LED lighting and daylight responsive controls, the use of Energy Star-rated equipment and appliances, diversion of almost 80% of construction waste from landfills, specification of recycled and regional materials, use of 97% FSC certified wood products, and the purchase of green power.

The Forrester Research, Inc., a global research and advisory firm, moved into its headquarters in August 2011. MPA provided interior architecture and corporate design services for the building.
