The two new solid back entrance mats join the company’s established Frontrunner Entrance Flooring System family. Frontrunner SB is a scrape and clean matting that expels the dirt from the traffic area and collects it at one place for easy cleaning.
The matting has an open ribbed top surface, which traps dirt from shoes and prevents it from transferring inside. This property of the matting drastically cut-backs the cleaning and maintenance costs of a facility. Frontrunner SB+ is an addition to the existing Frontrunner SB. It has been fortified with absorbent inserts, which removes dirt and moisture and dry shoes instantly.
The mats are manufactured using flexible PVC, which are strong enough to withstand heels and wheeled traffic, and have a hollow tube construction that is light in weight and enables ease in handling. The mats have overall grid height of 6mm, which allows them to be installed on existing floors and do not require any recessed matwell.
Both Frontrunner SB and SB+ mats are black in colour. The company is offering the products in 10m and 20m long rolls with a width of 1m. The length and breath of the matting reduces seams and facilitates easy installation.
As synonymous with Frontrunner range, the new matting can also be trimmed easily on site into any shape, and make good fits for any kind of environment, such as within revolving doors or around columns. The flexibility of the matting allows those to contour over uneven and rough surfaces and create a stable underfoot.
