To offer a place for members to connect and socialise, while enhancing their health, well-being and passion for sports, the renovation has updated the club’s front entrance, expanded the childcare facilities, provided spacious family locker rooms and added new 170-seat M Café.
Featuring walk-up counter service and a healthy menu, the new M café provides a spacious indoor seating as well as an outdoor seating section overlooking the club’s two swimming pools, and 24 clay-surface tennis courts. It also features two new private meeting rooms designed for professional and personal events.
The renovation also includes new family locker rooms and an expanded Kidtown childcare area that will cater to infants to 11-year-olds. The Varsity Club gaming center, which includes complimentary use of computers, Nintendo Wii and Xbox Kinect is designed as a suitable entertainment venue for the older kids. A general play and arts and crafts area is also featured for children.
The Midtown Athletic Club will celebrate the grand opening day on 12 October 2012.
