Scope of the project involves construction of a three-storey building, which will encompass an area of about 100,000 square feet, which will serve as the new frontage for the hospital. The project has been designed by US-based Earl Architects.

The first floor of the building will accommodate a cancer centre, while the second floor will feature a post-partum unit with 10 beds, a nursery, a four-bed pediatric unit, a post-anesthesia care unit and prep and recovery area, a Caesarian section operating room and an endoscopy suite. The uppermost level will include a 10-bed critical care unit and a 30-bed progressive care unit.

The project also involves the renovation of the existing 35,000 square feet of space. The renovation/expansion scheme will be done on the emergency department, behavioural health, cardiac rehabilitation, sleep laboratory, surgery facilities, central sterile processing and imaging facilities of the hospital. The project also includes upgrade to the cafe and addition of a new conference facility at the hospital.
