The new sports facility features full-size indoor pitch, altitude simulator, health spa and a bar. Set in the Staffordshire National Forest, in 330 acres of landscaped parkland, the facility includes 11 pitches including an exact replica of the Wembley Stadium surface, a full-sized indoor pitch and a massive indoor sports hall. In addition to that, it also features a dedicated practice and training area for goalkeepers, and sports pavilions for post-training de-briefs.
For the convenience of the guests, the new sports facility also includes state-of-the-art hydrotherapy suites, biomechanic gyms and video analysis amenities. An altitude chamber is included to mimic a variety of playing conditions.
Providing the footballers of England a permanent training base before games, the new facility features two hotels, where players can stay in their individual rooms featuring the pictures of their favorite international predecessors.
The centre will be the training base for all 24 England teams.
