Located at 55 McGuire St, known as the lower level parking lot, the facility will be the new home for the Niagara Ice Dogs and a venue for a wide-range of sports and entertainment.

The new 146,535 square feet sports facility will be designed as a U-shape bowl with three level schemes with event, concourse and suites level. The new design will accommodate 5,036 seats, out of which 4504 seats will be fixed and 532 will be retractable seats.

Apart from that the new sports facility will also feature 6,000 seats with use of the floor for concert events. It will also feature 24 suites, an NHL ice surface (85 feet x 200 feet) with sledge hockey compatibility, and 110 on-site parking stalls, including accessible and service parking. For the convenience of the visitors and athletes, the arena will also feature dressing room facilities.

Construction is scheduled to start in the later part of 2012 with completion expected by August 2014.
