North Fork Shopping Center will also undergo a name change, and would be named The Hub. Located at the intersection of Highway 183, State Highway 45 and RM 620, the 65,000-square-foot shopping centre will provide contemporary, superior retail space for national and regional brands.
The entire exterior and internal retail space will be transformed, with its height slightly raised to make it visible from the elevated highways. The design team has designed the entire space as more bright and airy.
Post renovation, long-term tenant Chair King will move to a fully revamped, 30,000-square-foot joint anchor position, while Strait Music and Factory Mattress will retain their existing spaces at the west end cap of the center. The remaining interior space will be refurbished for new tenants as they move in. The Hub will offer a 30,000-square-foot anchor and two 25,000-square-foot junior anchor retail spaces for lease.
Construction process is underway and is slated for completion in March 2013.
