Keeping in view of the Baker & McKenzie’s global corporate branding, the 2,153 square feet refurbishment provides a new look to the space with the entrance and reception totally transformed.
To make the area a spacious, modern, timeless and a welcoming place, the ground floor of the facility has been overhauled, whilst the dated stained glass façade has been replaced with a spacious lobby, which provides natural light and visibility to the street.
In order to achieve the connectivity between the two floors, the first floor of the facility has been opened up to create a double height reception space with a mezzanine level. It has also increased the waiting and collaboration space for both staff and visitors. Sculptural soft seating has been added, which defines the space. An extension has also been created to the café and the first floor lobby.
A bespoke, kiln-formed, glass installation by British artist Amy Cushings has enhanced the beauty of the space. The installation is inspired by the logo and brand colours of Baker & McKenzie, with the logo been deconstructed and placed opposite wall, complementing each other.
Exhibiting modern use of space, light, materials, artwork and furniture, the refurbished Baker & McKenzie LLP has created an inspiring workplace environment.
