Designed to transform a Beverly Hills city block into a vibrant new cultural destination, the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts features two elegant buildings in its layout – the historic 1933 Italianate-style Beverly Hills Post Office and the new, contemporary 500-seat, state-of-the-art Goldsmith Theater.

Boosting the culture as well as the heritage of the city, the venues are designed to have a positive impact on California’s history and future. In the Post Office, the existing spaces will be rearranged to feature a flexible, 150-seat Studio Theater, a theatre school for young people, cafe, gift shop, and production services.

The centre features an elegant marble-clad hall, which will serve as the main lobby. Apart from that the building also features a grand staircase, which complements the structure of the elegant structure of the building.

In addition to that the building is surrounded by lush courtyards, a sculpture garden and promenade event terrace, and a three-level parking garage operated by the city of Beverly Hills.

Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, the Annenberg will be home to artists from around the world and audiences of every age. It is scheduled to open in Fall 2013.
