Named as the The Strathallan- a DoubleTree by Hilton, the newly renovated hotel is an all-room upscale full-service hotel, which features 155-rooms.
Renovated to meet the historic importance of Rochester as well as DoubleTree by Hilton standards, the rooms of the newly renovated hotel include luxurious sleeping system, new carpets, drapery, furnishing and wall coverings. Public places are also renovated to provide a complete look to the hotel.
Keeping in mind the tastes of the guests, the guest rooms are renovated with bright décor and modern comforts and conveniences. Each guest room features two full-size rooms, granite bathrooms, mini fridge, and complimentary wireless high-speed internet access.
Apart from that the rooms also feature spacious work desks with ergonomic chairs, 42-inch, high-definition LCD TVs, MP3-compatible alarm clocks, plush bedding and combed cotton linens. Many rooms feature balconies as well as living areas, which are separated from the bedrooms with solid core doors.
For social gatherings and meetings, the Strathallan-a DoubleTree by Hilton features 1,600 square feet of flexible meeting spaces. In addition to that the hotel also features an accessible lobby market, a 24-hour self-service business center and complimentary printing service that allows the guests to take the print from the room.
To provide dining facilities to the guests, the hotel features upscale restaurants, snack bars and bars. It also features a 24-hour fitness centre and a heated indoor swimming pool.
The hotel is owned and operated by 550 East Ave., LLC, under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.
