As per the plans, the new Inönü Stadium is expected to be re-arranged like an antique amphitheatre covered with glass, which will protect the original structure, as reported in Turkish Football.com. The stadium renovation will extend into the total 8000 square metre area of the IETT terminal behind the stadium.
The new stadium will not change the Bosphorus skyline and will incorporate a BJK Store, Museum and Theatre venues. The project will also feature 200 luxury lodges for 6,000 spectators.
Construction works will be completed in 18 months, according to Turkish Football.
