The design concept for the office was to use materials that could inculcate an “East London” spirit into the workspace, lending a feel of London to the US-based company.
KI’s Unite SE collection was specified by IA Interior Architects as KI was able to customise the storage and workstations to suit the client’s special requirements. These customisations include a raw lacquered steel finish to the workstation understructure and ply edged work surfaces, shelving and cable holes which made it easier for users to plug and play with electronic devices, such as the games consoles
KI Unite SE is a complete workplace collection which brings together its special storage range with a versatile workstation system. The resulting collection combines simple clean design with well engineered, highly robust and flexible construction.
KI’s new Unite SE benches were supplied for the main office area. The T4 tables, which were finished with raw lacquered steel understructure and ply edged work surfaces, were supplied to the executive areas and meeting rooms.
Unite SE storage was installed at different breakout areas. The smart white coloured units were tailor made with perforated patterns on doors. Different shelves and drawers with integrated locks for extra security was provided. This was made as per client requirement for staff to be used as entertainment storage for various games consoles.
Furniture used for one of the areas, uses the company’s corporate logos with another breakout area featuring a “foosball” unit for staff. The third breakout area features blue upholstered armchairs where staff can come together for formal or informal team meetings.
