The window of Swarovski Crystallized’ New York store witnessed five previously unseen works by CIMON ART, the highly collectible New York-based artist famed for his luxurious and innovative LEGO sculptures.

LEGO sculptures are inspired by romance and a sense of fun. The work features complex sculptures using LEGO bricks used by Cimon which are re-skined in lustrous metallic finishes. The work was intricately hand-embellished with a myriad of sparkling Swarovski Elements.

The pieces were showcased as precious toys in a holiday window with both an abstract super-sized tree and gift boxes filled with crystal designer jewelry available inside the store from November 29 to December 26 2012.

This work of Cimon is called Little Love Stories series and has been explained as a contemporary Fabergé egg. Once the window is deinstalled, the pieces will be available for sale. Few of his sculptures from the “Little Love Stories” series will be premiered in the Swarovski Crystallized holiday window display. The displayed pieces are The Love Bug, Love at Sea, Love Comes Around, The Silver Steam and High Heels (Silver).

The love Bug displays the Volkswagen Beetle, lending a silver finish. It is covered with many sparkling clear Swarovski Elements. The car can be transformed into a convertible cargo as the top lifts off. The cargo turns into a ruby-red crystal hearts after the top is lifted. Approximately 1,400 Swarovski Elements are used to create this piece.

Love at Sea is a silver galleon that evokes the romance of a lost era. The swashbuckling heroes sailed the seven seas and a sweet maiden ponders the glittering ocean on her voyage into the unknown. There were thousands of cool blue Swarovski Elements, which were washed over the ship’s decks. All of them were shimmering crystal echoing with a nautical theme such as fish and starfish. Around 3,400 Swarovski Elements were used in the creation of this piece.

The theme Love Comes Around features the holiday season with animated carousel that comes to life as children and horses glide up and down as the music turns. In all 1,700 Swarovski Elements were used to make this piece.

The Silver Steam is an animated holiday train for adults and children. It features hundreds of luxury websites and blogs around the world and is available for public viewing. This piece is made of 1,100 Swarovski Elements.

High Heels (Silver) is a combination of fashion and fun and is a fit for fairytale princess. It is a crystal-studded slipper sculptures that aims to every prince. Around 1,000 Swarovski Elements have been used in making this piece.
