The new 149-room DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Charleston Airport is a full-service interior corridor hotel that is owned and operated by Homecourt Hospitality N. Charleston LLC under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.
Offering modern amenities and various other upscale services, the renovation included all guest rooms and all public areas. Combining the design cues of past and present, the hotel has given prime importance to Charleston’s heritage as a prominent aeronautics center and home to a Boeing plant and Charleston Air Force base.
To provide an upscale staying experience to the guests, the renovated guestrooms feature comfortable bedding, 42-inch, high-definition LED TV, MP3-compatible alarm clock and in-room laptop safe. Apart from that the hotel is also upgraded with wireless high-speed Internet access with remote guest room printing.
Emphasising the aeronautic theme, the hotel features a new restaurant, Two Wrights, named for the pioneering Wright brothers. Upgraded with an array of upscale amenities, the hotel offers a modern business centre, a well-equipped fitness centre, more than 5,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, swimming pool, the landscaped courtyard with fire pit, and a lobby bar.
The new renovated hotel is the third DoubleTree branded hotel in South Carolina.
