The fish shop receives large quantities of fresh fish each day which are delivered together with packed ice, while over counter machines continually spray water to keep the fish wet. This made the shop’s tiled floor very slippery with increased risk of slip and fall accidents.
To keep the tiled surface of the fish shop slip-resistant, Vynagrip matting has been laid alongside the counters. Designed with an open grid format and textured surface, the Vynagrip matting can drain large amounts of water efficiently.
Vynagrip is made from two layers of non-porous, flexible PVC that are welded together to create extra strong joints. Supplied in 10 metre length roll format in different widths, the matting can be rolled up easily to facilitate cleaning while long seamless runs can be achieved.
Made from 100% recycled material, the environment-friendly Vynagrip is available in red, blue, and black and black with yellow edgings to mark routes and delineate areas.
