Part of a wider Wembley development, Hilton London Wembley hotel features a flush black granite exterior which is highly polished to reflect the surrounding buildings including the stadium’s iconic arch. Inside, a spacious glazed foyer creates a feeling of openness and visually connects to the activity outside the Arena Square.
The Morgan collections appear throughout the building, and are grouped in certain areas with recognisable furniture design classics. Vintage-inspired, the Seville collection is an interpretation of the traditional wing chair and club armchair.
All 361 bedrooms in the hotel feature a Seville lounge chair. Apart from the Seville collection, bar stools, low back chairs and high back chairs upholstered in bright red fabric add a splash of colour to the stylish Icons Bar.
The hotel’s executive lounge area features Seville high back two-seater sofas along with dining chairs from the Seville and Verona ranges while the Atlantic dining chair, available with or without arms, was specified for the all-day Association Restaurant.
The hotel’s Sky Bar in ninth floor, which has spacious outdoor terrace, features sofas and chairs that provide distinctive style. Close to the bar itself, Seville bar stools in sunshine yellow are grouped around high bar tables and provide a relaxing sit with their curved upholstered back.
Additional amenities at the hotel include a health club with an indoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna, complimentary business centre, function and conference rooms, and a ballroom that can accommodate 700 people.
Morgan Furniture worked closely with Jane Johnson from The Manser Practice and Jonathan Pool, project design director from John Sisk and Son, throughout the project. The hotel was completed in May 2012.
