With the new extension, the single-storied development will provide four new classrooms to replace the existing temporary accommodation at the school, in order to support the increased demand for places at Thongsley Fields.
The extension will also provide a courtyard area, which will be developed into a quiet garden space for reading. Apart from that the project will also deliver a new netball court and playground, complete with amphitheatre viewing terrace.
Huntingdon Rotary Club is supporting the garden project. The scheme is due for completion in August 2013.
