Demolishing an existing residential home for older people, the St Anthony’s Court housing scheme will feature 18 new homes for affordable rent.
The scheme will be developed over three floors on piled foundations with beam and block floor construction, and load-bearing blockwork external and internal walls. The development is designed to achieve Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
The scheme has been developed in a partnership between Saxon Weald, East Sussex County Council, Eastbourne Borough Council, the Homes & Communities Agency and Faithorn Farrell Timms.
Construction is scheduled for completion in spring 2014.
