All patient rooms in the hospital are private, with balconies, gardens and rooftop landscaping, which contributes to the healing environment.
Created as the hospital of the future, the design of the hospital has blended world-class technology and advanced medical expertise with hospitality-focused patient care. Inspired by the rich traditions and heritage of Southeast Asia, the new hospital will support optimal healing and recuperation.
Having earned Green Mark Platinum certification from Singapore’s Building & Construction Authority, the hospital has included various green features in its design. It features aerial gardens and integrated photovoltaic technology.
Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital will be the first private hospital in Singapore to implement a fully electronic, paperless documentation system.
Hospitality Design honors the achievements of superior design and architecture in 17 categories spanning dining, hotels, sustainability and more. On 5 June 2013, Hospitality Design will recognize the winning architecture and design firms and owners at the Grand Hyatt New York.
