Taking the scheduled 14-week time, the data centre expansion has included a three feet raised floor with three ramps and one set of stairs, as well as 12 freestanding PDUs on the raised floor area.
The electrical room built specifically for Phase 2 (CP-2) houses three Liebert CRAC units, Square D switchgear, UPS models, and lighting control panels. All gear within CP-2 rests on four-inch housekeeping pads.
Four Energy Lab units have been attached to a superstructure mounted on the roof via columns and beams supported from grade level. The Energy Lab units are “hybrid” systems, which provide 1,200 tons of cooling via air- and water-side economization and evaporative cooling.
Fire protection is provided by a pre-action system along with VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus).
