Situated in the heart of the New Town, the UNESCO World Heritage site, the new hotel has been designed by embodying signature neo-classical and Georgian architecture with Edinburgh Castle in the background.

Originally designed as a series of quintessential townhouses by Scottish neoclassical architect Robert Adam, the hotel is a Category A Listed Building, which features 198 upscale guest rooms.

Several of the hotel rooms have retained their fine Georgian detail. The hotel’s modern wing features a range of contemporary rooms. Apart from that the hotel also features Club Lounge, main hotel lounge and lobby, which have been extensively refurbished by the Scottish design practice OCCA.

In addition to that the hotel also features various amenities for the guests like health and fitness suite, pool, sauna and gym and meeting facilities.
