The aim of the renovation is to enhance the comfort and lifestyle experience of travelers. As part of renovation, furniture and furnishings, guest rooms and suites, public areas including the lobby and great room, will be updated with a contemporary perspective to the existing rustic décor.
The resort’s new look is in line with the heritage of parkitecture, a style inspired by the great mountain lodges of the National Park system, which is evident through a display of earth tones, modern furnishings and contemporary paintings.
The newly renovated resort will feature clean lines that connect with modern traditions while imparting warmth and richness. In addition to guest rooms and the lobby areas, The Ritz-Carlton Club Level lounge, featuring private access and continuous food and beverage presentations will also be renovated.
Architectural firm Bilkey Llinas Design has artfully redesigned each guest room and suite of the resort whose decor evokes Colorado’s surrounding National Forest. The resort’s year-round natural elements, bold designs will be enhanced with fresh, soothing palettes of Colorado sky blue, sandstone, sage, golds and creams exuding ‘Mountain Elegance’.
The resort features 21,000 square feet of soothing surroundings, 19 treatment rooms and the co-ed rock-lined grotto with lazy-river hot tub. The resort’s four-legged residents, Saint Bernard ‘Bachelor’ and English Cream Golden Retriever ‘Miner,’ welcome ‘Man’s Best Friend’ with a host of dog-friendly services and amenities and interact with guests daily during ‘Paw Prints’ family photograph opportunities.
The renovated resort is scheduled to open on 5 June 2013.
