The Ashley Furniture HomeStore has been constructed by converting the former Borders Books and Music building, a 42,000 square feet freestanding building located at 5055 S. Montclair Plaza Lane.
The conversion work included the demolition of the interior, build out and the construction. The Montclair location represents the 16th Ashley Furniture HomeStore to be completed by the Hodgdon Group. The store opened its doors to the guests on 17 May 2013.
Located near the intersection of Central Avenue and I-10 Freeway in the heart of San Bernardino County, Montclair Plaza is a 1.2 million square feet enclosed two-level regional shopping centre. It is anchored by JCPenney, Macy’s, Nordstrom and Sears and includes Barnes & Noble, H&M, Cotton On, Victoria’s Secret, Coach, LOFT, Sephora and a host of fine eateries such as Macaroni Grill and Elephant Bar.
Montclair Plaza averages 33,000 customers per day and nearly 12 million customer visits annually.
