Combining technology and unusual materials, the Just Desserts lighting scheme features a cluster of ceiling pendants made from a selection of traditional glass dessert bowls (either mass produced or ‘one-of-a-kind’), which are sourced from flea markets and second-hand shops.

Cleverly reinvented as fascinating luminaires, the pendant lights display careful craftsmanship and sensible re-purposing, which meets the latest lighting technology.

Each lamp features a single high brightness LED, hot white (2700K, 95CRI) and rated to 75,000 hours, which has been incorporated into a turned wooden and aluminum fixture. It is then bonded to the base of the pressed glass dishes, which then defuse and diffract the light beautifully.

The lights are available as singles, clusters and bespoke arrangements and its price starts from £78.00 ($117.67) for a single pendant.

Interiors LDN 2013, part of the May Design Series, was held at Excel London from 19-21 May.
