It features new vents on the top of the oven cavity, which is said to be an industry first in full-size ovens. By focusing air directly on the food, it claims to provide increased air flow and cooking performance.
Equipped with iPhone and Android app, the Brillion-enabled ovens can be remotely controlled with Wi-Fi access. The mobile app can preheat; set the timer; change the temperature or cooking function; and check cooking status while managing other activities.
Its Direct Air convection system distributes heated air from two sources—both the top and back wall of the oven depending on the cooking mode. Unlike most convection systems, the oven’s fans can reverse in direction and operate at multiple speeds.
In addition to even cooking, convection ovens also claims to reduce the cooking time. Its Notification lighting makes it easy to multitask while cooking. The oven features an LED lighting strip between the top of the oven door and the bottom of the control panel, which pulses during preheating and progressively illuminates bar lights during timed cooking. The light also allows to monitor the oven’s progress.
For easy use and convenience, the oven also features multiple racks, which are designed to be left in the oven during the self-clean cycle.
The new wall oven boasts five cubic feet of capacity, which is said to be one of the largest in the industry. Available in black, white and stainless finishes the wall ovens are priced between $999 – $3,599. The wall oven models are offered in single- and double-oven configurations in both 30 and 27 inches.
