Attending business conferences isn’t always much fun: most of us, at some time or another, have fought desperately against sleep as speaker after speaker takes to the podium. It doesn’t help, either, that that conference venues are generally bland in their design. But a new one aims at making the experience of attending conference a bit more interesting.
Supernova is a new cosmic-themed conference area within the Jaarbeurs Utrecht (the largest fair and conference centre of The Netherlands.
The 3500 sq m area includes a foyer and four meeting rooms: one for 454 persons, two meeting rooms for 80 persons each and one meeting room for 460 persons, which can be divided into two smaller rooms, and a design which promises to ‘Turn your congress into a cosmic adventure’.
Even the meeting rooms are designed as space capsules.
