The London Festival of Architecture, which is taking place this June, is inviting proposals for independently-funded and delivered projects that respond to the 2014 Festival’s theme, Capital.
Now in its 10th year, the Festival is initiated by The Architecture Foundation, British Council, New London Architecture and RIBA London and celebrates London as a global hub of architectural practice, discussion and debate. Leading cultural institutions including the Barbican, Design Museum and the National Trust will be presenting activities across the city during the month-long event.
Proposals for independent projects can take many forms, from installations and exhibitions to debates and workshops, as well as bike rides and architecture walks.
A jury, including London Architecture Diary’s Elias Redstone and Finn Williams of the GLA, will select the projects to be included in the official programme of the London Festival of Architecture 2014.
Candidates are asked to submit a summary of their project along with details of funding by 3 April.
