Design

The stadium’s designs highlights the purity of straight lines in which everything revolves around a spectacular LED screen on one of the exterior sides. Measuring 220 x 20 metres, it is the largest LED screen to have been put up in any sport stadium in the world.

The exterior is rounded off with masterful angled walls designed to give continuity to the entire stadium’s geometrical functionality. The building envelope is a ventilated façade structure on which TECHLAM® Neu ceramic tiles are fitted. TECHLAM® is the perfect solution for exterior use. Technological innovation has made this product capable of bearing different external forces in a balanced manner. It is highly resistant to adverse weather conditions, sudden changes in temperature and severe climatic conditions.

Sustainability

The Arena Corinthians stadium has been built to the sustainable design standards promoted by FIFA. Architectural solutions for energy efficiency, the use of alternative energies, improvement of interior environmental quality, efficient water consumption, sustainable development of open spaces on the plot and material selection have been implemented in this project. This focus on sustainable design led the project architects and engineers to choose TECHLAM ceramic tiles, as they are Greenguard certified as suitable for environmentally-friendly projects.
