Where do artists get their ideas and inspiration from? Residencies bring artists of all genres together to share and learn new practices to flourish in their art.

Just outside the city of Marrakesh, in a tiny village, a paradise for street artists called, Jardin Rouge has emerged.

Some 40 artists from all over the world have developed their art work here for weeks and even months at a time. The private Montresso Art Foundation, launched in 2007, invites artists from all over the world to develop and hone their style at the residency, a private sanctuary for all artists to grow.

The residence is home to accomplished artists, experts and art lovers who wish to mingle and acquire different movements and styles used in contemporary art. Red brick walls, olive gardens, and motivational art surrounds guests, giving established and amateur artists the inspiration and time needed to reflect and develop.
