Shipping containers are becoming increasingly popular in the construction world. The latest use for them comes from Canada-based company, Modpools, who revealed its latest use for containers… garden swimming pools and hot tubs.

The containers are designed to be modular and easy to install. The pool comes in an all-in-one package with all the necessary equipment including a UV water cleaning system built-in so that all that’s needed is light ground work to bring the pool into full action.
Another fantastic function includes the divider which can divide the container between swimming pool and hot tub, increasing the temperature by up to 86 degrees in one hour.
The pool is also available for installation above or under the ground featuring large panoramic windows for a unique and sleek look.
Furthermore, the ‘smart’ tub can be completely controlled by a simple tap or swipe using its specially designed mobile app.
The 8×20 ft pool is currently retailed for $26,900 (£20,760) and also come in various sizes.
