The Red Dot Product Design Award – the international, annual design competition for product and industrial design, in which the Red Dot quality label is awarded to winners – is renowned worldwide for its rigorous evaluation process and esteemed panel of experts.

Each year, the award attracts a high number of submissions from exceptional designers and innovators globally, showcasing the best of design achievements. The recognition of the Zehnder Tetris amongst this elite group, only a year since its launch, underscores its exceptional design and innovative approach.

Inspired by the fluidity of nature and the harmony of architecture, Zehnder Tetris embodies the rhythm of warmth, bringing a sense of movement and space into bathrooms and kitchens.

Designed in collaboration with the renowned studio King & Miranda, Tetris seamlessly combines clean lines with a river-flow pattern, creating a product that is both visually stunning and highly practical. Furthermore, the option to incorporate valves in coordinating colours enhances the allure of the entire product concept, ensuring seamless integration into any interior design scheme.

The Zehnder Tetris, the latest member of the Zehnder Studio Collection, delivers unparalleled versatility, matching any bathroom layout or design aesthetic with superior ease. The introduction of customisable options from Zehnder's World of Colours allows customers to tailor their spaces with radiators that impeccably complement personal design preferences.

Earlier this year, Zehnder expanded its product range with the introduction of the electric version of the Zehnder Tetris, enhancing its portfolio with innovative immersion heater options. The Zehnder Tetris Electric boasts all the design specifications of its central heating cousin but features Zehnder’s patented IHE immersion heater, saving up to 58% energy. Unlike typical heating elements the IHE element maintains the set temperature by modulating power which reduces total energy consumption and extends the life of the element and therefore the radiator.

Ideal for use with heat pumps or electricity as the primary heat source, the Tetris Electric has an IP65 rating, making it watertight against light-pressure water spray, allowing for safer placement closer to water sources such as baths and showers.

The distinction of the Zehnder Tetris and the extensive Zehnder Studio Collection mirrors Zehnder’s long standing expertise, engineering excellence, and commitment to supplying consumers with both aesthetically appealing and superior-quality indoor climate solutions.

“Our mission at Zehnder has always been on improving quality of life by enhancing the indoor climate of a room or building. Receiving the Red Dot Award for the Zehnder Tetris is a testament to our team’s unwavering dedication and innovative spirit,” said Nigel Coston, Technical Director at Zehnder Group UK. “We are deeply honoured by this recognition and remain committed to pushing the boundaries of design and functionality in the indoor climate industry.”
