says Giovanni Corrado creative director, Baroncelli

As specialists in designing spectacular interior centrepieces, we like the idea of placing gold in an outdoor environment: it is as refreshing as it is magical. The dynamic focal point is a sculptural orchard of cherry trees, created using our Flexus system. These dazzling configurations of reflective gold curves and cristallo rods morph with the light by day and night, just as an orchard transforms through the seasons. A wild, floating Murano meadow provides a delicate reminder of the glass’s hand-blown fragility and enduring beauty.

The setting is a large urban courtyard, a public space serving as an appropriate backdrop for the contrasting sculptures and living plants in it. A Flexus bench sits below a magnolia tree, signifying the encompassing monumentality of nature. Our sculptures, rather than an attempt to mimic or replace, are a playful celebration of this inspiring, natural world.
