says Feng Yu of Deve Build
The design of this work originated from an authoritative textbook of Chinese traditional drawing, Jieziyuan Drawing Book. I got my idea from the bamboo shape and the images formed by heavy bamboo in this book that are natural and in many different shapes.
This is just an image I had in my mind, from which I want to describe a low-profiled Oriental artistic concept full of tension. The light, shadow and space work through each other and together show the rich and various forms of Oriental modern space.
