Having recently expanded, the college wanted to install folding partitions in order to make better use of space in its new Information, Learning and Technology Centre as well as in large teaching areas in the college’s main building. Facilities Manager Alan Payne expIains, “We wanted to be able to sub-divide these large teaching areas to create more working space yet still have the large area available to us when necessary.”
The partitions had to have a good sound rating so that teaching in the divided areas would not be disturbed and also had to be easily operable by everyone. With this in mind Mr Payne specified the Soundbuster 300 fabric partition in beige. He comments, “We are extremely pleased with the partitions and impressed with the extensive colour range offered by Building Additions. They have certainly provided the college with a flexible space management solution.”
