The project is well on target to open in summer 2009 and over the last two years the people of Oldham have been able to watch, step-by-step, the development of the 115 ft, 10-storey, building, which has become a focal point of the Oldham skyline.

Speaking about the project, Vernon Hailwood of Carillion said; “The Integrated Care Centre will transform the Oldham skyline as well as the town’s healthcare services. It was essential that all products used on this prestigious job were of the highest quality and would deliver lasting performance benefits. Euroclad’s LINEAR 1 façades look fantastic and helped deliver the quality finish we were looking for.”

Riaz Ahmad, Oldham Primary Care Trust chair, said; “I am delighted this project is continuing to develop well. Along with many new developments in places such as Royton, Werneth, Shaw and Crompton and the Saddleworth area, it will offer the very best health services to people in Oldham, by improving access and most importantly helping them to remain healthy wherever possible.”

Euroclad’s LINEAR 1 white Alpolic fr ACM rainscreen façade was specified to provide a sharp, flat, continuous colour that would deliver a long lasting elegant aesthetic. LINEAR 1’s innovative design ensures the speed and ease of installation is unrivalled and all panels can be independently removed and replaced without disrupting the rest of the façade.

Euroclad will also be providing materials for one of the roofs on the project. Euroclad’s Elite System 4 has been specified to provide a flexible, lightweight roofing system which offers an attractive option for specifiers seeking the latest in exterior cladding. Elite System 4 features the Euroseam standing seam profile laid over non combustible insulation, which delivers a striking finish and outstanding performance.
