The company is currently renovating and expanding its 152,000-square-foot Macy’s Central at Haywood Mall in Greenville. The store’s new look and new brands will be showcased at its opening on Saturday.
Improvements at the Greenville Macy’s include new lighting throughout the store, larger and furnished fitting rooms for women, new flooring and wider aisles.
Renovation also involved removing the walls to create more space.
Renovation of the nearly 30-year-old store began in July. Macy’s announced that it would close 11 of its underperforming stores this year and open eight new ones.
