The yacht, also known as Project Scout was launched at the Lurssen Rendsburg shipyard. Its predecessor was built as a 63 meter long superyacht.

The interiors of the yacht are designed by Pauline Nunns, while the structure was envisioned by Espen Oeino. The interiors of Northern Star display the looks of a French country house.

The superyacht is powered by twin 2,000kW Caterpillar engines and can achieve a speed of 18 knots. A blue and white exterior defines the complete structure of the boat.

US-based yacht building firm Moran Yacht & Ship has supervised the construction of the Northern Star. The yacht is available for charter at EUR600,000 ($846,149 approx.) per week.

The yacht will be available in October following the final outfitting and the sea trials.
