All the shelfs, cabinets and countertops in the unit are exclusively made with steel giving it look of real work station for the serious cook.
The quantity of stainless steel used perhaps, draws its inspiration from commercial kitchens. Mostly stainless steel is regarded as a durable and easy to clean raw material.
The weight of this kitchen unit might just mean that it can only be used on ground floor dwelling units.
