The project envisages a complete rebuild of the central section of the Hancock Airport that would entail an addition of nearly 50,000 feet to connect the two concourses of the terminal on the second level.
Construction is expected to start around March 2010, with a completion date some time in 2012. The makeover will be paid for by the millions the city takes in from ticket fees each year.
