A major problem was how to bring light into the building, so architect Louise McDonnell selected two 1.5 sq m rooflights to flood light down into the bedroom and bathroom below. The rooflights were chosen for their slim profiles which suited the contemporary interior while still being in keeping with the surrounding architecture.
