Project Scope
The Energy Industries Council (EIC) is the leading trade association for UK companies supplying goods and services to the energy industries worldwide. Logic Office Group were appointed to supply and install furniture for EIC’s new office, located on the Albert Embankment, London. The EIC desired to create a modern contemporary working environment and Logic was briefed to deliver a cost effective, quality furniture solution in line with their new space. The client required desking for 40 staff, seating, storage, reception counter, kitchen and meeting room furniture. The meeting room furniture needed to be flexible to enable it to be continually changed to cater for different styles of meetings. The EIC requested posture chairs and Logic put forward 10 options which were demonstrated and tested by staff and the Liberty chair by Humanscale was chosen.

Solution
Logic specified Staverton ZD workstations in the openplan office, each with a tower storage unit.
A special brush strip was designed on the back of the worksurfaces to prevent pens and other stationary falling through the gap. Staverton PR workstations were specified in the cellular offices, which provided an elegant and sophisticated executive environment. Bespoke Staverton flip top tables with linking elements were manufactured for EIC’s meeting rooms. This cohesive solution allows tables to be stored when not in use, as well as link together to be suitably arranged for various types of meetings. The TAS meeting chair was chosen for its comfort, looks and stacking capability.
Other special requirements that were created include a large storage wall and recycling wall unit with relevant push flaps. Logic also supplied seating and tables for EIC’s impressive new kitchen and breakout area.

Result
Logic Office Group have specified and installed contemporary furniture in keeping with The EIC’s new office space. Paul Yaghmourian, Chief Operating Officer, comments “Logic were consistently helpful, both during the design and procurement phase of our project and in the post installation follow-up.
