First held in London in 2005, the three day event offers dance students, teachers, professionals and anyone with a passion for dance the opportunity to watch performances, take classes and interact with experts whilst sharing the experience with thousands of like-minded dance fans.

The MOVE IT Main Stage, equipped with Harlequin LIBERTY and Harlequin CASCADE floors, will host spectacular performances by some of the UK’s most exciting artists and dance companies – from the English National Ballet Youth Company to Britain’s Got Talent runners up Twist and Pulse.
For advanced and professional dancers, the Harlequin Masterclass Studio offers a dedicated and intimate space – complete with fully sprung Harlequin floor. There will be a wide range of practical workshops, including ‘Teaching Street Dance’ to ‘Strategies for Safe Dance Practise’, taught by some of the UK’s top teachers and dance companies.
With classes for absolute beginners to experts, the Harlequin Ballroom will once again encourage visitors to grab a partner and take to the floor. Whether performing sensual flamenco, the Cha Cha Cha or the Argentine Tango, every ballroom step will be performed in absolute comfort and safety thanks to the fully sprung Harlequin Floor.
MOVE IT 2013 is expected to be the event’s most successful year yet. Held as part of a major sponsorship agreement with world leaders in dance floor technology Harlequin Floors, it offers dancers, teachers and professionals the opportunity to interact with dance enthusiasts from all over the UK.
