AECOM experts from the Middle East and the UK are expected to offer building-engineering services for the 360-bed hospital, to be located on Al Sowah Island.
The project will encompass 5.1 million square feet with the hospital spanning 2.2 million square feet. The facility will feature a central utility plant and parking facility accommodating 3,200 vehicles.
Cleveland Clinic has partnered with Mubadala Healthcare to develop and manage a 360-bed hospital and clinic called Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. The hospital is scheduled to open in late 2012. Like its counterpart in the US, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will be a physician-led medical facility.
