The stadium, which substituted the old Knowsley Road Stadium, has a capacity of 18,000. Barr Construction served as the main contractor for the project and specified three types of Altro Flooring for the facility.
Altro Atlas 40 safety flooring has been specified for the players’ changing rooms and tunnel. The flooring measures 4mm in thickness. It has an anti-slip quality, and is capable of withstanding studwear on boots.
The stadium’s café area has been fitted with Altro Timbersafe. It is a wood effect safety flooring sporting Altro’s Easyclean Maxis Technology and is idael to be used in busy public spaces.
The hospitality suite bar areas of the property have incorporated Altro Designer 25 safety flooring. It has a thickness of 2.5mm and comprises coloured quartz crystals in its surface which match up with the interior colour scheme of the club. The flooring is anti-slip, features bacteriostat for improved hygiene, as well as is aesthetic.
