The 65m Limited Editions AMELS 212 features athletic, feminine, and balanced exterior by Tim Heywood. The Classic-style interior envisioned by Andrew Winch complements the Heywood exterior in a flawless manner. AMELS 212 is designed as an opulent high-volume yacht adaptable to chartering.

The AMELS 212 features two VIP cabins on the bridge deck, each with sliding-window access to a private balcony. A centrally-located glass elevator enables easy access to all parts of the yacht, including the ‘wet feet’ bar on the sun deck and the large Beach Club located at the stern. The yacht is also equipped with ample storage for a range of beach toys and also for two 8.5m tenders.

Atop a powerful, soft-riding hull, Heywood has added grace, modernity, and function, enriched by harmonious details such as a gull-wing mast arch, supple sheerline, and broad windows. The AMELS 212 architecture is formulated to encourage invention of an onboard life of individualism.

Andrew Winch has expressed his originality, dynamism, and flexibility in an interior complementing Tim Heywood’s exterior. This is also in keeping with the Limited Editions guiding philosophy of reducing production time to deliver each yacht sooner. While the fundamental architecture is essentially set, the style is adjustable in ways that meet each client’s taste.

AMELS pioneered the Limited Editions concept with the AMELS 171 and 177, and now the range has been further expanded with the new 65.5m AMELS 212, and will be expanded further by the soon to be unveiled AMELS 242. The new yacht has been launched ahead of schedule. Amels will display the yacht at the 2011 Monaco Yacht Show.

AMELS is the exclusive yacht-building member of the Dutch DAMEN Shipyards Group. Limited Editions are designed for clients seeking a first-class yacht delivered in less time. They are built on the best platforms-by experts applying the same standards, methods, technology, and materials-as are AMELS custom yachts. Limited Editions offer extensive options for personalizing, so although each may begin as a ‘sistership’, it sails away as a unique expression of individuality.
