Who:
Founded in 2009 by Central Saint Martins graduate Tinja Wright, a former journalist, Blank creates striking canvases that can be customised to suit the colour palette of any space.
After searching galleries without success for affordable art to ‘unify her living spaces’, Wright decided to create her own. The response, she says, was so positive that she was convinced others who might be looking for ‘customised canvases that don’t cost a small fortune’. And so Blank was born.
Why:
Providing a blank canvas on which to create your own artwork, Blank offers a versatile service in the form of three main packages: Bespoke allows client to work with Blank designers to create unique canvases, while Icons offers a fully automated facility which allows the client to mix and match artwork and backgrounds and choose colours. For those who don’t have the time or inclination to create their own canvases, Off the Wall provides a range of ready made artwork.
